THE ARTIST

I was always creative - whether it was art, dance or anything that allowed me to express myself.

But I grew up in an environment where success followed a narrow definition: doctor, engineer, accountant. So I followed the sensible path.

At 21, I moved to Australia and rebuilt my life from scratch. Years later, at 27, I made a decision that didn’t make sense on paper - I left a stable career in accounting to become a professional makeup artist.

It wasn’t rebellion.
It was alignment.

I didn’t step into makeup casually. I practised relentlessly, studying skin, layering, texture and light until I understood not just how makeup looks - but how it behaves.

I fast-tracked my technical foundation working hands-on with diverse skin tones, textures, ages and concerns - sharpening precision and product knowledge in real time.

Over time, my work expanded from private bridal bookings into runway, fashion, broadcasting and commercial environments. As a bridal and editorial makeup artist based between Darwin and Melbourne, I’ve worked at Melbourne Fashion Festival, had work featured in Vogue Australia, worked with public figures such as Emma Donovan, and worked across national media platforms including ABC and Seven Network. I’ve also completed campaign shoots for MAARA Collective and contributed to major fashion platforms including the National Indigenous Fashion Awards and Country to Couture.

Whether I’m creating wedding day makeup for modern brides or working across fashion and commercial sets, my approach remains the same - preparation, calm execution and makeup that enhances rather than hides.
